Be A Part of The Big Read

Here are just a few ways that you can become a part of BIG READ: QUINCY!

  • Host a book discussion of The Great Gatsby. If your book club is planning to read The Great Gatsby, we can assist you by providing opies of a Reader's Guide containing information about the boo, the author, the historical context, discussion questions, and more. We can also provide an audio CD that you can share with your group containing interviews with Robert Redford and others about the book.   • Read The Great Gatsby with your students. If you are an educator, we can provide copies of Reader's Guides containing information about the book, the author, the historical context, discussion questions, and more. We can also provide an audio CD that you can share with your students with interviews with Robert Redford and others about the book. We can also send you a Teacher's Guide containing lesson plans that were developed with NCTE Standards and State Language Arts Standards in mind.   • Also, don't forget to pick up a copy of The Great Gatsby at our Big Read Kick-off on Thursday, September 9 from 11:30am to 1:30pm at the Women's City Club, 1550 Maine St.
